BGR Logistics and Rumah Koperasi Indonesia Sign the Memorandum of Understanding on Supply Chain Activities

Palembang, March 7, 2019 - PT Bhanda Ghara Reksa (Persero) or BGR Logistics, a State-Owned Enterprise (BUMN) logistics service provider signed a memorandum of understanding with Rumah Koperasi Indonesia (RKI) about collaborative supply chain activities integrated with the Coop2Coop Trade Scheme in Palembang, on Wednesday night (6/3)

The signing of the memorandum of understanding was carried out directly by the President Director of BGR Logistics, M. Kuncoro Wibowo, and President Director of RKI, Insanial Burhamzah. The memorandum of understanding was signed to coincide with the opening of the Dewan Koperasi Indonesia's National Working Meeting.

In the memorandum of understanding, BGR Logistics and the Indonesian Cooperative House, will conduct cooperation that can benefit both parties. "We hope that this MoU is the beginning of a synergy that can be done by BGR Logistics with the Indonesian Cooperative House," Kuncoro explained.

With the signing of this memorandum of understanding, it is hoped that a beneficial collaboration between BGR Logisitics and RKI will be created. BGR Logistics is expected to be able to plan and prepare supply chain handling activities integrated with the Coop2Coop trading scheme such as import handling processes, handling in Bonded Logistics Center Areas, management of storage, inventory and distribution, and planning of procurement and distribution needs

After the signing of the memorandum of understanding, it will be followed up with a cooperation agreement between BGR Logistics and the Indonesian Cooperative House to arrange more details regarding the implementation of the cooperation that will be carried out.
