PT Bhanda Ghara Reksa (Persero) Performs Digital Transformation
PT Bhanda Ghara Reksa (Persero) or BGR Logistics, a state-owned enterprise providing logistics services continues to strengthen its business. One of them is by transforming the company into a digital logistics company launched on Monday (31/12).
President Director of BGR Logistics, M. Kuncoro Wibowo, explained that a number of transformations starting from the system, business and corporate culture, were carried out by BGR Logistics since three months ago, and will begin on January 1, 2019.
The transformation carried out by BGR Logistics in terms of the system includes the implementation of the HANA SAP S / 4 Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) system as of January 1, 2019, where BGR Logistics works with PT Sygma Metrasys Solution, a subsidiary of PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk.
BGR Logistics also builds monitoring for warehouses called the Warehouse Integrated Application (WINA) and for the fleet, Fleet Integrated and Order Monitoring Application (FIONA). From the customer side, BGR also updates the website by moving the domain to www.bgrindonesia.co.id, and building the Contact Center, Halo BGR 1500-692. In addition to systems for external needs, BGR Logistics also builds internal information systems related to staffing and administration.
"The various applications built are also monitored in a monitoring application managed by the IT BGR Logistics Team. We also built a Command Center to monitor various applications as well, "explained Kuncoro.
Furthermore, Kuncoro explained that not only the IT system was built, but also from the perspective of human resources. This can be seen from the new corporate culture prepared by the Corporate Culture BGR team.
To improve employee capabilities, BGR Logistics has now built a Training Center at the BGR Logistics Head Office. "We realize that HR is the biggest assets that the company has, so we will continue to improve our HR capabilities by building this Training Center," he explained.
