BGR Logistics and Kejati Bali Establish Cooperation in the Field of Law

Denpasar, January 16, 2019 - PT Bhanda Ghara Reksa (Persero) or BGR Logistics State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) logistics service providers signed a cooperation agreement with the Bali High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati) regarding the field of civil law and state administration.

The signing of the collaboration was carried out directly by the President Director of BGR Logistics, M. Kuncoro Wibowo, and Head of Kejati Bali, Amir Yanto, and was witnessed by the Director of Finance, HR, and General BGR Logistics, Mohammad Affan, and Kajati Bali Deputy, Yudi Handono.

With the agreement, BGR Logistics and Kejati Bali will hold cooperation in the field of Civil and Administrative Law covering legal aid, legal considerations, and other legal actions with provisions.

President Director of BGR Logistics, Kuncoro, explained that the purpose of this collaboration was to resolve Civil and State Administrative law issues both inside and outside the Court involving BGR Logistics. He also hoped that BGR Logistics, especially the Denpasar Branch with Kejati Bali, could exchange ideas and hold socialization that could improve understanding and mastery of legal issues relating to the corporation.

Furthermore, Kuncoro revealed that the collaboration was concrete evidence, BGR Logistics, as a state-owned enterprise whose all shares were owned by the state, continued to work optimally to resolve legal issues involving BGR, so that it could help improve BGR's performance going forward. "So that this collaboration can run well and be able to have a tremendous impact," he said.

In addition, as a State-Owned Enterprise that operates as a logistics service provider, Kuncoro added that BGR Logistics has a strong responsibility and commitment to ensure that every business activity is carried out with reference to the principles of good corporate governance (GCG). With this collaboration, it is expected that BGR can continue to implement the GCG principles well.

For additional information, BGR Logistics is a state-owned logistics service provider that has integrated logistics services, ranging from distribution, warehousing, freight forwarding, collateral management service, to waste logistics services.

The Head of Kejati Bali, Amir Yanto, revealed that this collaboration was an honor, because it was a form of trust that was given to Kejati Bali from BGR Logistics to help resolve existing legal and administrative matters of the State that might or might arise in BGR Logistics.

This is also a positive step that can be emulated for other agencies, whether government, BUMN, or BUMD, to cooperate with the prosecutor's office as a state lawyer. "This cooperation should be followed up by giving a special power of attorney to the prosecutor as the state attorney attorney, so that this collaboration can be realized concretely in handling cases of civil and administrative law faced by BGR Logistics," concluded the Head of the Bali Attorney General's Office.
